Social Accounts & Scheduling
Connecting social accounts
A link in your Links section only sends people to that profile. Connecting an account is separate. It lets Upsyte import content or, on the platforms that support it, post and schedule for you.
Where to connect
Open the published Upsyte, choose Analytics, then the Social tab. You can also connect from AI Studio when you are about to post. The accounts you can connect are Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Pinterest.
What each connection is for
- Meta: import Instagram posts into Highlights, and post or schedule to Facebook and Instagram. Owners import from the Instagram account that is connected. Only an admin can type a different Instagram handle.
- TikTok: import videos into Highlights and view TikTok stats. Upsyte does not post or schedule to TikTok. See the TikTok guide.
- LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Pinterest: use them when you post or schedule from AI Studio.
- Putting a YouTube, WhatsApp, or other icon in Links does not connect that network. It is only a button on the page.
