In the sleek world of prestige crime dramas, few titles command attention like Scarpetta. This moody forensic thriller has captivated audiences since its March 11, 2026 premiere on Prime Video, blending A-list talent with the intricate world of Patricia Cornwell's bestselling novels.

The All-Star Cast Powering the Mystery

Nicole Kidman steps into the iconic role of Dr. Kay Scarpetta, the brilliant forensic pathologist whose sharp intellect cuts through the darkest cases. Opposite her, Jamie Lee Curtis shines as Dorothy Farinelli, Scarpetta's complex sister, adding layers of emotional depth and tension to the family dynamics driving the plot.

The ensemble elevates every frame. Bobby Cannavale brings grit as Detective Pete Marino, while Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, and others round out a cast that feels both grounded and electric.

The series follows Scarpetta's return to Virginia as Chief Medical Examiner, where old grudges, hidden secrets, and high-stakes investigations collide in an 8-episode season perfect for immersive viewing.
