Noah Kahan lit up Studio 8H as the musical guest alongside Matt Damon in a standout episode of Saturday Night Live. This New England powerhouse pairing delivered laughs, heartfelt performances, and that signature stick-season energy fans crave.

A Homecoming for Two New England Icons

Matt Damon returned to host SNL for the third time, marking his first time back since 2018. The Vermont-born Noah Kahan made his second appearance as musical guest, fresh off the release of his fourth studio album The Great Divide, which recently topped the Billboard 200.

The duo leaned into their shared roots with fun promos riffing on "Skit Season" instead of Kahan's hit "Stick Season." Kahan even tried setting up a collab with "Matt and Ben," though the Ben in question was SNL cast member Ben Marshall, not Affleck.

The episode captured that perfect blend of humor and musicianship that makes SNL special. Damon reprised his iconic Brett Kavanaugh character in the cold open, while Kahan delivered live performances that had the audience hooked.

Standout Performances and Album Spotlight

Kahan performed tracks including "The Great Divide" and "Doors," showcasing the emotional depth and folk-indie sound that has defined his rapid rise. His first SNL appearance in December 2023 introduced him to millions. This return felt like a victory lap for the Grammy-nominated artist.

The chemistry between Damon and Kahan added an extra layer of charm, proving once again why live television moments like these resonate so strongly with viewers.
